Over the last several months as part of Phase I of the plan development process, we have conducted numerous stakeholder and public outreach activities across the state to gather input on existing conditions and trends affecting transportation in New Mexico. Activities have included:
- First round of meetings with all seven Regional Working Groups
- First round of meetings with eight Statewide Working Groups
- Two rounds of meetings with the project’s Coordinating Committees
- Statewide public survey
- Freight stakeholder survey
- Tribal survey
- Public gathering in Albuquerque
- Presentations to regional and metropolitan transportation planning organizations across the state
